WBTB - Wake-back-to-bed Method
The WBTB method is NOT a lucid dream technique. It is an add-on to an existing technique, like DILD or WILD. It really helps in LDing, though.
How to do it:
1. Go to bed, and start having normal or lucid dreams, your choice.
2. Wake up at will, or from an alarm clock, a good few hours away from when you normally wake up. Now, stay awake for a few minutes (to record your dream, go to the bathroom, or nothing at all, whatever works for you) and then go back to bed.
3. You should start dreaming much earlier, and your dream should be much more vivid.
This technique works GREAT with the WILD technique, since you can trick your body to falling asleep much faster, and works pretty good with the DILD technique as well, since the dream is much more vivid, and you can notice so much more RC's.
FAQ's:
I don't/the alarm clock doesn't wake me up! Help!
Here's a thought: Try putting your alarm clock under your pillow. The alarm goes off right next to your ear, it's hard to miss. Or use a cell phone or another electronical device with an alarm and put it close to you.
I did the technique, but I didn't get an LD! Why?
There is no foolproof way to LD, buddy. Try using more techniques, like the ones posted in this thread.
