College admission?
Hey guys, I will be taking college admission tests by the end of the year, and I wanted to know how college admission works in other countries.
---------
Here in Brazil, each college/university has its own test, which usually consists of multipel choice questions. Some more competitive colleges have more extended tests, which involve a piece of writing and dissertative questions.
Apart from that, there is the ENEM, the National High School Exam, which is a generalised test you may choose to take. Some lesser colleges accept that as a test substitute, but more competitive ones only use it to improve your grade, and sometimes they don't even use it at all
All in all, I believe the exams are very accurate and demanding, which suit the high numbers of people trying for an admission.
How is it like in your country?
